Book three in the Unveiled Seductions series.

Talathion Frostbane was tasked with saving his people and took on the responsibility unflinchingly. Yet all it takes to throw his entire existence into chaos is one encounter with the wyvern-shifter he spurned two hundred years before. The passion between them is as strong as ever, but there’s no escaping the expectations of the clan. And giving in to the all-consuming desire for the dragonkin would have devastating consequences.
When Hervé Cinq à Sept travels to the Fey city of Leaich, searching for answers after someone tries to kill him, what he finds rocks his world in a variety of ways and leads him down a path of inescapable hunger. As he finds himself on his knees, lost in desperate need and heading for heartbreak, he realizes why, as a species, the dragonkin no longer believe in love. It’s so easy to lose everything—pride, independence, control—when the one you want to claim can never be yours.

Excerpt

Could such a simple touch—his hand over Hervé’s—cause such a reaction? How would the wyvern react to the touch of his lips?
Wanting to know, he leaned in to lick a circle around the other man’s nipple, letting his tongue catch on the ring imbedded there as it passed. A deep growl rumbled through Hervé’s chest and Tala absorbed it, just as he drank in the shudder of pleasure rippling through the muscles beneath his lips. An answering rush of arousal fired through Tala’s veins and he knew, much as he wanted to spend time exploring Hervé’s body, he wouldn’t be able to go slowly.
He’d waited—they’d waited—too long for this.
“There’s—” Hervé’s voice faltered, got lost in a harsh groan as Tala slid closer, began to trail his lips down the rigid abdomen. “Ah Tala. Yes.”
Tala paused, his lips lingering on a shivering ridge of muscle alongside the other man’s navel, the straining cock just another nibbling kiss away. He knew what Hervé wanted, but some impulse made him ask, “Yes, what?”
Hervé’s breath shuddered in, was expelled with a harsh rush. Another inhalation, held for a moment, and then the low, tension-filled reply. “Yes, suck me.”
Releasing his hold on Hervé’s hand, Tala sat up, afire with urgency and also a new, thrilling sense of command, despite the wyvern’s terse request. The knowledge that it was his decision as to whether he complied or not was heady stuff indeed. He touched Hervé’s thigh, testing his own ability to demand, rather than ask. “Open for me.”

The sound the wyvern made as he bent and spread his knees, putting his feet flat on the bed, was like nothing Tala had ever heard before. The rough, sensual moan filled the room with invisible sparks of passion and made the elf’s balls tighten in sympathetic pleasure. And the sight of Hervé completely exposed, intimately vulnerable, utterly aroused, almost took Tala to the edge. This was more than he’d imagined, beyond anything he’d allowed himself to fantasize.
