Release Date: Sept. 24, 2013

Destiny Series Bk II

The child he didn't know he had . . .

Andrew Yates has come to a decision: it's time to stop sowing those oats and start a family. But searching for a bride isn't as simple as he'd hoped, and many of the respectable women of his acquaintance feel . . . lacking. Then beautiful, feisty Wilhelmina "Billie" Wells arrives at the family ranch with a toddler in her arms, claiming Drew is the father!

The woman he didn't know he loved . . .

Billie had no choice but to show up at Destiny in search of Drew. For the sake of their child, she's willing to leave him with his father so the boy can have a better life, but then, before she can blink, she's saying "I do" in front of a preacher in a marriage of convenience. All Billie and Drew have in common is the heat that brought them together, but can their sizzling passion lead to an everlasting love?

I’m in love with Beverly Jenkins!  Book 2 in the Destiny series is a delight to read, the plotline is one I love to death and Jenkins has a certain knack for writing the characters in a way that will endear  Andrew and Billie to your heart.

Andrew Yates is an affluent gentleman from a prosperous farming family who is in need of finding a wife to settle his mother’s worried heart, but his mistress Wilhelmina Wells has an unknowing hold on his heart.
Before he leaves for a cattle run (that will take months), Andrew leaves Billie with some security but not as much as she would like.  When she finds that she is pregnant, she immediately knows who’s it is even though she is a prostitute (and she had sex with other men even after she found out she was pregnant).  Weird, I know.

And so she makes her way to the family ranch, telling his family what she is (a prostitute), and why she has come.  Andrew’s mother immediately takes her in with skepticism from the rest of the family; Billie wants to leave the boy and run from her past but of course the close knit family will have none of it even though they dislike her because of her profession.  Before she can protest further, Andrew returns and makes her an offer every mistress would love to hear from her benefactor.

Destiny’s Surrender is filled with action, drama, love, heartache….all the elements of an enduring love story.   I fell in love with the Yates family when Mariah knocked on Logan Yates door and announced she was his new housekeeper in the first book Destiny’s Embrace.  And I absolutely fell for their mother’s second chance at love with a neighboring farmer.
